This aeronautical information circular presents aviation security requirements for general aviation aircraft and aerodromes, approved by the order no. 2-139 of 27 May 2020 of the Director of Transport Competence Agency. According to the established requirements:
1. The owners or operators of general aviation aircraft shall keep the external doors of a parked aircraft locked or sealed, except for the cases when such aircraft is parked in a locked hangar.
2. Owners (operators) of the aerodromes used for general aviation operations and having ICAO codes shall follow the aviation security requirements:
2.1 to install information signs warning persons about the responsibility applicable for illegal entrance into the aircraft or usage of the aircraft near the locations (hangars, outdoor parking areas) for parking the aircraft;
2.2 to inspect the aircraft within the territory of the aerodrome and to identify, whether there are no evidences of attempts to illegally enter the aircraft, also whether they are parked locked/sealed (in case of parking the aircraft in the hangar, whether the hangar remains locked); to record the results of the inspection in inspection registers;
2.3 to enhance the supervision of the aerodrome under certain circumstances, for example, when events take place nearby or within the territory of the aerodrome;
2.4 to cooperate with local law enforcement institutions in receiving the information about suspicious actions, which might pose a threat; to execute informal safety assessment based on the received information.
Owners (operators) of the aerodromes used for general aviation operations and having ICAO codes shall include aviation security requirements of item 2 to aerodrome flight instruction.
